The process to re-import a US manufactured plane from Canada back to USA is not difficult. Don't let the North of the Border location stop yourself from considering it. :P

1946 CESSNA 140 Very well maintained, multiple STCs, flies regularly

Airframe TT: 3608 hours., Engine TTSO: 1243 hrs, STOH: 205 hrs

Engine: Continental 0-200 (STC) with 205 hours STOH (4 new Millenium cyl.). McCauley Prop 1A101 (69-48) as per Randy's STC with static at 2600rpm.
C150 Exhaust STC, MOGAS STC, Cowling latches STC
Brand new Harness and Slick Magnetos 4301with under 10 hrs on them. TAF-L Spin-on Oil Filter, 60 amp Alternator
McCauley wheels/brakes. Refurbished Scott 3200 tailwheel, new pressure plate, new chains/springs and new tire.
New Main tires and tubes.

Interior: C-150 newly upholstered seats with AeroFabric shoulder harnesses and belts (with STC) and new belt metal retaining bracket as per SB25-03. New carpets. Molded plastic interior restored (made for the C140), Hat shelve

Avionics : iCom A210 comm radio with integrated Intercom and Dual watch frequencies, King KT76A transponder with new transponder antenna

Instruments: Airspeed, Alti, VSI, Directional Gyro, AH, Turn Coordinator. Astrotech chrono, CHT, EGT, Oil temp (new), Oil Pressure, manifold pressure, Map light


Flown regularly. Annual inspection completed in May 2018.

After almost going back to the USA, FJAR found a new owner that should maintain and keep it alive for the following years.
It will be based at a 20 minutes flight from where we are presently.

Until final payment I'll enjoy a few more hours with it.

That was a great 11 years ride.
