Marvel-Schebler MA-3SPA Carb Swap
Hi guys, new to the forum. Recent got rid of the old Stromberg carb because it was leaking despite overhaul and decided to bite the bullet and buy a Marvel-Schebler MA-3SPA carburetor. Got it hooked up and the engine runs beautifully, but the mixture cable comes out the left side of the firewall, while the control arm on the carb swings right for lean and left to enrich. Basically, I need to have the mixture cable to wrap around the back of the engine, and the current one isn’t long enough. Has anyone done this conversion in the past and if so, what mixture cable type/length did you use?
