The original copper 1/8th inch tubing used to transfer the pressure from the engine fitting to the firewall will work harden because of vibration. An owner can replace it by making a new one or the Neoprene hose from a Cessna 150 can be substituted if available. If not, a new hose can be fabricated with the instructions in the article or from an authorized hose maker.

A Neoprene hose replacement for the original copper oil pressure line forward of the firewall.
