The aluminum needs some more elbow grease and I would like some tips on restoring the paint scheme if anyone has any. It's been in my family since my grandfather bought it in 1952. My dad flew it with me. Now I fly it with my son.

After weeks of waiting the sun, the moon, and the stars (field approval, weather, and work schedule) all lined up to finally get airborne today in order to test out my new hand-me down 8.50's (thank you Chris).
For those interested, it was around -10F on takeoff and a touch warmer at altitude.
