I've often said that being a member of the 120/140 association is like adding "extended family". Recently I visited Colorado and South Dakota. While in South Dakota I spent several days with long time members Don and Maureen Alesi. They were kind enough to put me up (in their spectacular mountain top cabin!!) while I hiked the Black Hills.

A little history. The 2010 convention was in Spearfish S.D. While there, Don and Maureen took a look around and said, "this is us", they packed up & out of Illinois and within a few years moved to Lead S.D. We went by the Spearfish airport and it's.........changed since then. The area we all tied down in the grass is now the new ramp with a new, larger FBO. Still a very cool airport. If you're ever in S.D you owe it to your self to look them up. (and seriously enjoy the Black Hills!)

Incidentally the 2022 Convention was at Sturgis, just down the road.(yup, we went by that airport too)
