I've had this old ELT for ever, and while doing some cleaning up this morning I came across it in a drawer. Date of MFR 4/75. I was going to throw it away but thought I'd check it out on the internet. A new battery pack is available, and the ELT is for sale on various sites. Shocking! So, I'm going to keep it. Not planning on using it right now, but who knows when you may need one!
I can't find out if there is a mount for this ELT or not. There are 2 embedded 6x32 nuts on the bottom, and some velcro on the top. Is anyone using one of these? If so, how do they mount?
Thanks.

Re: Sharc 7 ELT
Mine is screwed to a bulkhead with a large hose clamp.

Re: Sharc 7 ELT
Thanks, Larry for your info. Don't think I've ever seen an ELT mounted with a hose clamp! We'll see if anyone else has one and how it's mounted.
