R & R horizantal

Post by 7677 »

A couple of years ago, I replaced the elevator cables on our 120. Somebody was kind enough to send me a picture of a tool he made so that one didn't need to crawl down the fuselage to replace the stabilizer bolts... If you are still on the forum, it would be nice to repost the picture. It worked really well for me, and I see there a couple of folks that are doing this recently.

Thanks,

Ken Hamilton

Ken

Are you looking to replace the forward two stabilizer bolts? I've done that before with longer bent needle nose pliers. Or are you thinking of some other bolts? The aft bolts come in from the back.
