FOR SALE: Parting out complete 1946 140

Post by 8385 »

I purchased SN 8888 back in December for a restoration project, but things have taken a different direction. I have completely disassembled it to the individual airframe components, everything is available.

The C85-12 has been torn down completely as well, and cleaned. Wings have been stripped of fabric.

Let me know what you're looking for and I'll get pictures over to you. Responses may be a little delayed, as I'm traveling for work occasionally.

Based in SW Ontario near the border, so shipping to US or Canada is available.

Thanks,
Todd

Added: I've created an online photo gallery that makes it easier to post pics. It's at: http://rv14a.ca/cpg Post what you are looking for in this thread and I'll upload pics of it to the gallery.

Hi,

Yes, I have the one on the left wing. It looks complete. You can email me at tnessel {a} protonmail {dot} com and I'll reply with some pictures I took yesterday. I was on my way out the door for a trip, in Pennsylvania for the week, home Saturday if you want more info. I can pull it out of the wing and get you more details if you like.

Thanks

Hello everyone,

It doesn't appear that my PM function is working properly, I can receive but sending doesn't appear to work. If you could contact me as well at tnessel {a} protonmail {dot} com and I'll make sure to get back to you.

Thanks,
Todd

The left fuel tank if my s/n 8899 needs replacement because of some corrosion pits that are very difficult to seal permanently.
If you have a LH fuel tank that is still tight after 73 years I am most interested to have it.
For further communication please use my e-mail juha.purje@kiwa.com.
Best regards,
