Cessna 120-140 Association

Looking to buy a used wood climb prop for a '46 140 C-85, have a metal standard prop now...looking to lose some weight and gain a little climb... Any leads appreciated.

Can't sell you a prop, but, if performance is your goal, the extra weight of the metal prop is probably more than offset by the increase in efficiency.

I thought that a wood prop in the correct pitch IS more efficient. The reason is the it effectively provides variable pitch.
