WTB I am looking for a 120/140

Post by flyinglemur »

I am looking for a fun taildragger that doesn’t break the bank to fly. From everything I can find it seems that a 120/140 fits what I want.

I am in Northern Utah but am willing to travel to pick it up. Any tips, leads, or advice is welcome when it comes to looking for one to bring home or to 120/140s in general.

Thanks

I’m based down in Cedar, there have been one or two 140’s for sale out of KCDC over the past year or so. Whether they were sold or not, I don't know. I would keep eyes on KSL. I don't know what it is about Utah but that seems to be where all deals are made. Good luck with the purchase! A rag wing 140 does surprisingly well cruising around the mountains if kept light.

Thank you for the reply. Ill keep an eye out on KSL.

I am getting a lot of negative feedback from people who have never flown a 120/140 stating the low performance, but then they go fly a loaded 150.
