Almost bought this one but ended up with something cheaper and closer to me cause I couldn't get to Arizona to see it cause I wasn't old enough to get a rental car lol, it also looked like their might of been minor corrosion by the laps seals on the tail but could just be the paint. Great buy!

EWP1000,
Glad you found a plane. Yes, the underside of the horizontal stab has some chipped paint. Likely from a prior owner flying off from a gravel or dirt strip. It could easily be repainted to look like new. No corrosion there though. Best to see a plane in person to really get a feel for condition. The owner of this plane has been honest and forthcoming to a fault and just an overall good guy.

Update: N1791N is back for sale. I was offered a local140A that I just couldn't say no to. The AZ seller graciously allowed me to back out of the purchase.

If N1791N is for sale again, can you provide the seller’s contact? I PM’d you on this site with my contact. I used to own it and am actively in the market. Thanks!

To wrap up this thread....Steve told me he bought 91N and is happy as can be as he used to own her and wished he never sold! So, I'm really glad he got his plane back.

I will be the new owner of N5380C and very excited. I have a new friend in Tom the current owner. He has taken meticulous care of "Charlie" for the last 24yrs. Having Tom so close means he can still fly with me in 80C as often as possible. I have a lot to learn from him as there is no one on earth as familiar with the plane as he is!

Here is a pic of Tom preparing to grease another landing :D ...the plane is as clean up close as it appears in the pic.
