Great source info., Blaine. Maybe KRN would want to advertise the 0450340-1 braces on our website...and NL? Their website indicates that they have both new and serviceable, so wonder if "serviceable" might be less cost(?). The last I saw on Ebay was "firm" at $599.00...so $799 may not be all that bad -- although just a "few" years back folks practically gave them away...but I digress as I get older ;-). In any event, although the cost of the brace does add a bit to the "conversion", it's a great STC'd answer to replacing the aging old "straight" and the Pancake exhaust systems. (FWIW, though mildly unrelated, WagAero has a copy of the old straight exhaust tailpipe bracket -- 'though not "certified", it fits and functions similar to the Cessna part that's no longer available & helps extend the life for those of us still hanging on to early OEM.) Thanks Mac, yes I would have thought with all the wrecked 150's out there that these things would not be commanding such a price. It looks like buying wrecked airplanes and parting them out must be a good money maker.

I just recieved my new exhaust system too. Did you take any pictures of your new install when the cowl was off?
I would be interested to see those. Planning to have the new system installed next month.
