Hi,
we are working on a restoration of my C140 and discovered bondo on one of the wingtips. As we continued to clean it up we discovered a repair from many years ago.
I am looking for a wing tip for a 1947 Cessna 140

Look up 80KY David Lowe airport on www.AirNav.com, that will give you a good telephone number to call David. More than likely David can possibly help you out. Also, contact Ken or Lorraine Morris at www.taildraggeraviation.com, and inquire if they have a spare. I purchased a 140A wing from them several years ago. Ken and Lorraine have restored/rebuilt many C-140's, and may be able to help you.
