O235 Engine install

Post by 8489 »

Hello All,
I recently stumbled upon a barn find 140. It's in descent shape but without an engine. I just happen to have an o235 in my shop that I removed from a piper a few years back. Does anybody have the drawings available or information about the Makenzie STC? I see the engine is on the TC but it must be installed in accordance with the Mekenzie drawings... I wrote a letter and sent to the registered address on the STC but no response. I believe it was a Florida address and I seem to remember Mr. Warren as the the name of the holder. Any information you may have or is greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
JD

Mr.Warren is a member of this organization. Hopefully, he'll chime in, or someone in contact with him will point him in your direction.

Additional Info:

I sent a letter to the name and address listed on the Makenzie STC:
John P. Warren
2106 Victory Palm Dr.
Edgewater, Fl

The letter was returned to me yesterday as "Not Deliverable as Addressed - No mail receptacle"...

If anybody has contact info or is in touch with Mr. Warren, please point me in the right direction. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

That usually means you got the right address, but he uses a PO Box. If you're desperate, you could use a FedEx or UPS envelope.
