Parking brake hookup?

Post by 8359 »

Does anyone have any information on how the parking brake hooks up? My 120 came with a cable but it wasn't hooked up. I looked down at the pedals but it wasn't immediately clear how it hooked up.

Thanks for the help.

The parts catalog (download in the members library) has a diagram.

That said, don't hook it up! It has a tendency to lock up the wheels at very inopportune times and you end up looking at the dirt through the windscreen.

I just got a 140 with the same parking brake problem, only there are two cables, one from each of the master cylinder, attaching to one cable to the control. Should I not hook this up? Same problem as the 120? Thanks. I am new to this site, and find it to be a great place!

The brakes are the same across the two models, as are the issues.
