Does anybody know where I can find a dip stick for a 140A? Will a dip stick for a 150 work?

You couldn't use a 150 stick since your 140 has a tailwheel and the 150 does not.

I use the 11" universal fuelhawk. I've run a tank to exhaustion ok two occasions and fueled the airplane a gallon at a time. I'm flying tomorrow, I'll try to remember to post my data.

All you need is a wooden dowel and mark it yourself.
However I learned to make it long enough that it can’t fall into the tank

Good point Jody,

Primary student of mine did that a few months ago, and had to fish out the stick with some mechanical fingers that I picked up at Harbor Freight. To prevent a repeat, I put two 8" tie warps set at 180 degrees to each other at the top of the stick. Now if anyone lets go, the tie wraps prevent the stick from going down into the tank. Just my 2 cents.

Here is my sheet for a C120 and the 11" universal gauge. Not an exact match, but maybe helpful.

Cheers,
