Lang tailwheel

Hi all,
I installed a Lang tailwheel on my plane. The setup is: single-bend leaf spring, tension springs stretched about 1/2" and the tailwheel is new. On the jack the tailwheel comes out of steering lock fine but taxiing it's VERY difficult to get it into swivel mode during a turn to the right. Left turns go into swivel mode with no problems. Any ideas before I call Lang tech support?
