How many valve springs in c 90 o 200?

Post by 8171 »

Hi everybody,
in my millenium cylinders (C 90F converted to O 200) I saw only two valve springs one inner and one outer. But in the maintenance manual it should be three of them?
Are the two springs in the millenium cyls stronger or what?

Looking for clarifying!

Thanks
Bengt

Great question, I wish I could answer with 100% conviction.

I also have Millenium cylinders. Since it's a PMA'd part, the misc parts, (rocker arms, shafts, springs, seats etc) should all be identical.

I don't have pictures of my valve springs layed out(only coiled up) but I suspect there should be three springs.
The IPC shows p/n 24031 as the inner valve spring.

How long have the cylinders been on in this condition?
