Now that the Sky Beacon is approved, has anyone installed one yet? 120-140s are not on the Approved Model List but they provide a sample 337 that looks pretty simple.

I pre purchased the Sky Beacon and the matching R/H light with strobes at Oshkosh. Hasn't shipped yet. I'll post pictures and info once it's installed.

...just received "alert" email this afternoon that Adventure Pilot ("iFly") had stock and was shipping the SkyBeacon for "certifieds". I assume that Spruce and others did, too. As of this evening, both Adventure Pilot and Spruce are showing "out of stock" and projecting new stock in for shipment in January '19. Now, we should begin hearing of installations and performance reports. As John had posted separately, there's a coincident notice recently that a patent has been "awarded" to uAvionix for the way SkyBeacon "communicates" with other on-board equipment. Let's hope that this is, indeed, the long anticipated "affordable" ADS-B Out option for many of "us" and that Garmin and uAvionix can/will both walk away unscathed and happy. Mac
