I’ve got a leaky fuel drain valve on 1946 C140, but I can’t seem to find the part number. I believe it’s a CAV-170 but I can’t confirm. Can anyone help provide confirmation on the part number?

Mine are CAV170 but I think if you look closely you will see a stamping on yours. IIRC there is some discussion on pipe thread and straight thread on the fuel tanks.

Additionally to what David has said, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to read through all these postings on the subject first. There are different drains that were utilized during the Cessna 120/140 production run.

You're not the only one.
I was going to suggest a swap, but one wing with a flap and one without would probably be less desirable.
