Stuck rocker pushrod sleeve

Post by 6553 »

With stuck intake valve, I am working to remove affected cylinder. I have found that the pushrod tube sleeves stuck in place and am looking for advice on how to free up. Thanks :?:

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do. Do you realize the pushrod tubes are part of the cylinder assembly? They are swedged into the cylinder head. You should be able to remove the hose clamps on the rubber boots and slide the tubes out of the fitting on the case. If not, remove the nuts holding the fitting to the case and remove it with the tubes.
