Anyone have constant speed or air adjustable prop?

Post by wingspinner »

Although Cessna offered an air adjustable prop as an option, I’ve never seen or heard of a 120/140 with one. Anyone have one?

We have (had?) a member who has flown behind an Aeromatic prop for years.

I have a Beech-Roby adjustable prop in the hangar, but it has a broken blade and hasn't flown in at least 30 years. Some day...

I am just curious as to what the performance is like on this little c85 with an air adjustable or CS prop. Obviously not a popular item.

Thanks!
