Rudder cable guides

Post by cess140 »

I am restoring a 140 and have to replace the rudder cable guides that are guiding the rudder cable before it exits the back of the fuselage. The ones that were in there I think were made if wood. They sit in a pocket holder attached to the inside of the fuselage. Can someone give me some direction as to were to get these? Thanks

The original ones are phenolic and safety wired in place after the cables are installed.

Contact Tim Mix at Mix Aircraft Solutions, he's a 140 driver. https://mixaircraftsolutionsllc.wordpress.com/

He showed me the official part and had some comments on a owner produced part.
