Spring in door hasp

I am guessing that the spring in the door haps is supposed to be strong enough to put the password in a closed position. The spring looks to be bro but I just want to know before I order some.

Mine doesn’t have a password… you must have a newer WiFi version for remote entry….

There is another way, available from your local hardware store.Borrowed this from our friends over on the International Cessna 170 Association.
