Yes, it's very feasible, I am 6'1'' and only wish I was 178 lbs, my 140 has original seats and have no problems. My good friend who is 6'5'' has flown with me and instructed in the wonderful world of tail dragging had no problems either. I will admit it's a little bit of a trick to get in and out, but you find a way that works, I am not very flexible, he is . I hope this helps a little, once in the plane it fits just like a 150.

Little late response but I’m 6’4”, 215lbs with a 34” inseam. I have a very original 140 and I LOVE my plane. I fit with plenty of room to spare. My instructor who did my sign off flew a 4 hour, 1 stop flight and several other flights with me, is 6’6” and 230 lbs. It is snug with both of us but really not terrible. It isn’t any tighter than a seat on a small commuter airline. He had a little trouble getting his long legs in so he always had to get in first and slide over to my seat to get through the weird door post location.

Hope that helps!

I have the opposite concern. Can I move the seat forward? I'm 5'2" and looking to buy a 140 but I dont know if the seat even moves forward. I use a "booster" cushion in just about every airplane I've ever flown. Just wondering if anyone on the little side can fly it comfortable as is.

Only the seat back is adjustable.

If the airplane has been modified with 150 seats, then they do slide forward. With original seats, only the seat back moves.

The plane was designed for 1940's sized people. What is your inseam? Mine is 30" and I get by just fine. The back of the seat moves fore and aft about 5-6 inches at both the bottom and the top. I've seen two different seat bottoms. The ones with frames are pretty thick, are raised up above the seat pan, and can be overstuffed to raise you up higher. Some are just pads that sit on the seat pan and probably would not be a good choice for you.

Best idea is to find one to sit in and try it on!

I’m in Midland so if you take that drive to Alpine before you get a chance to sit in one let me know. I’d be happy to meet you and show you my 140.
