Leanest cylinders for dual EGT install.

Post by 5469 »

Hello,

I will install Alcor dual EGT with new Alcor EGT probes type K, PN 86255.
Probes came packed with STC No SA 522 SW

I am aware about SB M89-18 that Supersedes M76-19 Rev. 1

My mechanic has no previous experience to select the two cylinders for the installation, as there are very few 140s here.

Thanks for experience / ideas about this subject,

Have a nice day !

#2 is the hottest cylinder. The air flow tends to go over to #1. Not sure about the exhaust gas temperature.
