C140 Flap Lever Assembly

Post by 8142 »

I’m looking for figure 15 reference 44 part# 0411322. It houses the detent that the flap lever uses to hold the flaps in position when deployed.
Mine has completely worn out and is in need of replacement. So I’m looking to find and purchase, long shot, or manufacture one using the old part as reference.
Looking for advice for either. Here is pic of worn out part.

Stephen,

Did you locate an assembly?

Mine is still available. Let me know if you need it.

Not sure how this turned out but I could use that part if it is for the twist grip handle.

Thanks,
Karl

Hi Carl!

The gentleman looking for this part never responded to the above post or to PM's that I sent him, so it is available to you if you are interested.

I also have the right side of the assembly, shown below (figure 15-12 0411323, cover assembly - flap control - right) , but it has a latch assembly attached at the front for what appears to be the push button lever operation. It appears a part has been removed from the holes in the lower front of the piece.

These parts are in the exploded view of the twist handle unit in the parts manual, but I have no experience with this type of flap handle. Just happened to get these in a box full of parts I purchased a while ago.

I've sent you a PM.
