I used the quarter round hollow weather strip from Aircraft Spruce. The original weather strip retainers will need removal.

If you can contact Bill Rhoades on this site, he may have some or a source. Bill had a supply made up in the past and was selling door seals. Do a search for Bill Rhoades.

Is the 140A the same as the 120/140? If so, read this thread.

That’s a good point John. Door seals for the 140A may be different from those utilized on a standard 120/140 (John’s attention to detail has always made an impression on me). I did a little research on door seals using the part numbers from the 140A parts book (0411639-23 and 0411639-26) and found that 140A seals are also used on newer Cessna aircraft such as the C-150, C-152 just to name a few. There is a company called Aircraft Door Seals in WI that says that they make and sell the correct seals per the 140A part number. I’ve listed the web site below.

www.aircraftdoorseals.com

Just did a quick check on their site, and the company also mentions they sell door seal material for the 120 and 140 also.

After checking the Air Door Seals site, it appears that they offer a universal door seal which is FAA-PMA Approved for a wide range of Cessna aircraft from the 120 to the 337. Looks like a good product and will be installing it when Spring comes to Michigan. Thank you!

I got mine from Tye Hammerle. Original for 120/140.
