I took the elbow off; no fluid at all coming out. At this point I realized I was trying to bleed the 1/8" NPT (7/16" wrench) fitting rather than the nipple itself, which screws into that fitting. Anyway it went lickety split once I loosened the nipple instead of the fitting. A little different than cars, but not too much.
Called some outfit in Ft Lauderdale to see if they are up to making new exhaust shrouds; suspect I will end up handing them over to someone out here in LA and telling them not to stop until they look more reassuring.
Then motor mounts. Debating the engine hoist vs chain fall from the hangar door header; I assume the mount is not strong enough to hold the motor and prop from one upper bolt only.
My Sensenich looks pretty bad, even though it is a good prop for around the pattern. I think it is 74-44. The motor is a Don Swords stroker from 2012. It climbs really well with 10 flaps at about 65, but of course 70 is safer. Anyway
