Fire wall heater assy.

Putting my firewall back together. Didn’t take it apart was like this when I got it. I’m in the process of putting the heater / cold air assy back on the firewall. And I have a bag with some parts in it. Not sure what this is. I know it’s broken. But still would like to know what it is. Can’t find it in the IPC.

I did a cursory look at part# 0450247 images online and can't figure out where something like that would go. Same as early Cessna 150's.

What kind of material is it? It looks like it might have been a ceramic insulator: not part of the heater control valve, as far as I can remember.

That looks an awful like the bottom half to p/n 0411067 “insulator assy.” found in fig. 56-12 and fig. 57-15 for the G.E. Radio Installation in the C-120/140 IPC. and Univair’s p/n 0411067-1.
