I really prefer a paint job that fits the era... I'm not a purist, but as I work on my 47, I phrase it this way: It doesn't have to be factory original, but in the spirit of the era." I plan on restriping mine to the 140A paint scheme, its just sexier imho...

But thats the great thing about ownership, if someone wants to paint their plane neon pink with purple pokadots, rock it out :)
