Peachtree Convention

Post by 6898 »

Thanks to Christian and family we had a great time in Georgia. Love seeing our "Once a year Assoc. friends" from all over and really enjoy meeting the first time attendees . Hope there experience brings them back to many more conventions as it has for Cindy and I. It was hot traveling in our little bird but as always she stepped up to the plate and after 11.5 hrs from northern Il. to Ga. and back she got the job done without any complaining. I started bathing her yesterday and will shine her back up this week. Counted around 14 tied down and there were 2 based at Falcon we also had 4 other birds there, Rob Swanland flying from California! Conventions are so fun for us if you haven't been or it's been a while since your last PLEASE try for next years convention at Sturgis South Dakota. Dates and details will be determined soon. Look for all details and convention photos in upcoming news letter. Jeff

Yes, Kudos' to Christian and his family and friends for hosting us. A great time. McCauley prop tour was worth it! Great seeing everyone again and having some of our events in the CAF hangar surrounded by WWII 'heavy iron' didn't hurt either!

Yes, fantastic convention, many thanks to Christian and Heidi and their family!

On another note next year’s convention will be held in Sturgis, SD, Wouldn’t be surprised if Victor rides his motorcycle to convention instead of flying.

I've been thinking about that all month..............hmmmmmm, nah, probably fly, better view, get their faster, although riding in the black hills is spectacular!
