Re: Calendar

I understand that the calendar production is all volunteer work (with much thanks to Blake and all involved), but would it be possible to move up production so they can be mailed in early November instead of December? That would get us ahead of the Christmas mailing rush and help ensure delivery by January 1st. We seem to go through this every year, and it's always a shame for the January/February photo selections who get flipped before they ever had a chance to be displayed.

Thank you Blake and all others involved in producing and sending out the 2021 calendar (got mine yesterday). Many great shots of beautiful birds!

It's not quite that bad; she's at least 500 miles away. Or, maybe it is. She told me she just got a card from someone else that was mailed on the 19th...

Yeah, now it really is snail mail. I was hoping that once Christmas was over things would speed up but not the case here in Canada anyway.

Haven't seen a calendar yet, never received one last year. Just checked my profile and membership payment, and I'm up to date until March, when I'll renew on line. I know USPS is very slow, and I'll keep monitoring. Tom

This year was especially bad due to Covid. I've gotten Christmas cards from Mid December in early January.......... Blake did get the Calendars out on time this year, but the mailings have been poor. What's odd is that 1st class letters can arrive in a day or two, but any kind of bulk mailers(such as our calendar, which are typically slow) just seem to get tossed in a pile until someone decides the piles big enough? I don't have an answer, but the mail is slower than usual.

Got my calendar today...thanks, Blake!

Believe it or not, I purposefully opened the January page, and hung it up without looking at any of the other pictures. Not sure I can stay true to this plan thru December, but I'm going to try!
