Calendar

Post by 7677 »

Hi folks,

Still no calendar. I saw that you shipped them earlier this month... wonder what gives. My info is correct in my user profile.

Thanks,

Nope, not a special order -- it's part of membership. Blake Mathis does a wonderful job of crafting the best submitted photos on a very attractive calendar. There's always some gnashing of teeth this time of year for those who are yet to receive and, of course, the sheer magnitude of working with vendors, assembly work, an ever focus on stewardship with the significant expense and navigating the USPS "system" means some will receive before others. WELL worth the wait, whatever it may be. :) Mac

Not complaining... just making sure that it's on the way. I remember Blake posting earlier in December that they were being mailed... And, I really do look forward to getting these every year... 2020 saw my grandson drooling over our plane last July!

All of us drooled over it, Ken...kinda waiting for the 120 to roll out so that we could view entirely. What a great photo & the caption couldn't be more appropriate. Thanks for sharing it with us! Maybe a near future calendar will include a photo of that young man piloting granddad's airplane? Mac

Calendars were sent out in early to mid December (for 2021). So far maybe 10% have arrived. The USPs has been pretty slow. Odd that some of our international members have received theirs, but people in the lower 48 are still waiting...........that includes me.

It certainly is worth the wait! The December picture last year with the water skiing 140 was crazy! My son (who lives in Chugak, AK) was camping on a lake and watched a plane water skiing and snow machine go by on the water side by side in front of his RV.
