There are several ways to attach photos and other files to your posts.
Perhaps the easiest is to choose a file on your device (computer, tablet, phone, etc.) and "drag" it into the message box:
.
.
If you are posting an image, click on the "Place inline" button if you want to include the image in line with the text, as these are. The image will be placed wherever your cursor is when you click on the button.
.
.
Another way to attach a file is to choose the "Attachments" tab:
.
.
Then choose choose "Add files."
.
.
This will open a dialog box where you can choose the file you want to attach.
You can also embed an image from the internet by clicking on the image button.
.
.
Type or paste the url for the image between the [img][/img] tags
[img]http://my.url/mypicture.jpg[/img]
Your image will appear inline.
There is a size limitation for attachments. If you try to attach a file that's too big you will get a warning and the file will not be transferred. Most image processing programs like Paint, Irfanview, etc. can resize your images. There are also online image resizing sites that will do it for you. The size limit for jpg images is about 450Kb.

Re: Posting photos and attachments
One thing to keep in mind is that attachments are listed in the reverse order that you attach them, in other words, if you attach pictures 1, 2, and 3 in that order they will appear as 3, 2, and 1. So if you're posting something like "Before and after" attach the after picture first, then the before picture.
