Hi Blaine.

Your interior looks really nice. Was your upgrade a kit or did you make portions of it yourself?
I really like the grey color. In my opinion the lighter color of the interior makes a plane appear cleaner and lighter (in weight).

My plane (C140A)is black from the door posts forward and from the instrument panel down to and including the floor. It's like a black hole! I'm in the process of changing that to light grey. I did this to my first C140, too.

Hi Steve,

this was a full kit from Airtex other than the seats, as you could probably see from the before pictures it needed it :D I was given the leather so had a local shop recover the seats with that but it still seems to match the colors I picked from Airtex not to bad. I'm pleased with the outcome.

I finally got the outside finished on the ole girl. I have to say I'm very happy with the vinyl wrap instead of paint. Whenever I ask someone what they think of the paint job they say it's perfect, then when I tell them it's not paint, they are impressed. I don't know how it will stand up compared to paint, but since I have it hangared all year around it should be fine.

Beautiful job! Careful with that widget holder on top of the instrument panel. Lurking behind the blocked view is that other aircraft you might hit. Hope its not me.

Well since an international border and 1600 miles separates us I doubt it would be you earl ;) I do normally have it moved down a bit lower in flight though, but that holds my phone with Garmin pilot on it and keeps me from getting lost :D

This looks so awesome! I really want to redo my interior. I also really like the hubcaps you have, Where did you get them from?
